Assembly election results: Guarantee of hat-trick in 2024, says PM Modi

The Prime Minister asserted that the outcomes of the election will serve to bolster international confidence in India’s advancement, fostering assurance among global investors.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on the occasion of his announcement on Sunday, declared the consecutive victories of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the Hindi heartland states of Chhattisgarh, Madhya Pradesh, and Rajasthan as a noteworthy accomplishment, positioning it as a harbinger of a triumphant performance in the forthcoming 2024 Lok Sabha elections. The Prime Minister emphasized that this electoral success is anticipated to resonate globally, instilling confidence among investors.

During his address at the BJP’s national headquarters on Sunday evening, Prime Minister Modi strategically incorporated the phrase “Modi’s guarantee” throughout his speech. Expressing his appreciation, he attributed the victory to the substantial support from women voters and acknowledged the pivotal role played by the party’s women-centric initiatives, including Ladli Behna, along with commitments to augment subsidies on cooking gas cylinders.

In his discourse, the Prime Minister took the opportunity to critique the Opposition, accusing them of disseminating misleading information to the public, particularly on contentious issues such as the caste census. He reiterated his government’s unwavering focus on what he termed as the “four castes” – namely women, youth, farmers, and the economically disadvantaged. Furthermore, he underscored that within this framework, due consideration is given to the concerns and welfare of the Other Backward Classes (OBCs) and the tribal population, encapsulating a comprehensive approach to governance.

The Prime Minister underscored that the electoral outcomes are poised to bolster global confidence in India’s developmental trajectory, fostering assurance among international investors. He accentuated the global scrutiny on citizens opting for a steadfast administration with a robust mandate.

In interpreting the victory, the Prime Minister perceived it as a validation of his government’s concerted efforts against corruption. He positioned it as a lesson directed towards the Congress and the Opposition’s INDIA bloc, contending that an amalgamation of discredited dynasts may yield compelling visuals but is insufficient to garner public trust. Modi asserted that these political entities must heed the electorate’s admonition to reform their approaches, lest they face political obsolescence.

The Prime Minister advocated that the Opposition refrain from obstructing the implementation of the central government’s welfare initiatives. Additionally, he cautioned against the heightened activities of anti-national elements in the wake of the election results.

Modi observed that the OBCs and tribal communities in the three states have affirmed their support for the BJP’s policies and strategic framework. He specifically highlighted the departure of tribal groups from the Congress, opting instead for the BJP.

The Prime Minister attributed the removal of the three ousted governments to their perceived negligence of youth interests, citing accusations of “paper leaks” and “recruitment scams.” He contended that the electoral mandate signaled a repudiation of appeasement, corruption, and dynastic politics, traits the electorate now demonstrates “zero tolerance” towards.

Addressing the BJP’s electoral performance in Telangana, the Prime Minister noted a consistent improvement in the party’s trajectory with each election. He encouraged party members to actively recruit a minimum of 10 youths for the Developed India campaign, aiming to cultivate a generation devoted to the national ideal. Furthermore, he urged the enlistment of individuals for the government’s welfare initiatives.
